She wanted to be a Queen when she was human, unlike the Remilia from this Gensokyo, and was unwillingly turned into a vampire at a later time. She went to her Gensokyo and ruled there until she ended up in this Gensokyo, unable to return to her home.

Kagami's weapon is the Gungnir, same as Remilia's. The spear is described as having the ability to always pierce cleanly through its target and as never stopping during its thrust.

Kagami has the power to control the fate of others and herself, though she cannot use it willingly as the Remilia in this Gensokyo is able to.
