Hana is a girl who never had parents. Her mother died at Hana's birth and her father was not interested to keep her just by himself. He used alot of money and gave her away to a special orphanage. In this school the children get an education to become a butler or maid. Hana had a normal childhood there till her 6th birthday. In this age the education of the children begins. In normal case the education takes 3 years, but for families it is also possible to take the children with them earlier. Hana liked the maid school, she had alot of fun and a good home. But a half year after her 7th birthday, a man came to the school and wanted to take her with him. She was afraid and run away from the orphanage with nothing except her maid clothes. The first days were hard for her alone, but then she met another girl in her age. Reimiki Hakurei. She was searching for her parents. The both girls traveled together for some time and became friends. Hana told Reimiki that she is a maid (she lied that she finsihed her education) and she told Reimiki that she will help her to find her parents, if she can stay with them together as Reimiki's personal maid. Reimiki agreed and they continued their travel. But then an big earthquake appeared. The girls tried to escape, but they were too slowly. As they woked up they were in another world, called Gensokyo. Hana decided to follow Remiki and be her maid, even if she would never see the old world again, were they wanted to find Remiki's parents.
